The OTA will cooperate with licensed therapists to implement care plans, educate families, and promote high-quality, compassionate care in patients' homes and clinics.

Formación

• Requires OTA license in state(s) of practice.
• CPR certification required.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with accountability for results.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise OTs per Practice Standards and applicable laws.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to the supervising OT and medical staff.
• Collaborate with OT to update the plan of care and coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on home care, safety, and assistive devices.
• Participate in care coordination and discharge planning.
• Support patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
• Perform physical duties including lifting up to 50 pounds, with heavier lifting with assistance.
