Grace Reliant Health Services LLC-1 is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide skilled in-home occupational therapy under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The role focuses on helping patients recover, maintain independence, and improve daily living activities throughout Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.

The OTA will perform intermittent skilled therapy, document progress, and collaborate with families to teach exercises and self-care strategies.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an approved two-year Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Must be licensed by the State of Missouri as OTA.
• Must have criminal background, OIG and National Sex Registry clearance.
• Must hold current CPR certification.

Aufgaben

• Provide patient care under OT supervision and assist in plan of care development.
• Assist in evaluation, documentation and periodic reevaluation.
• Prepare daily progress notes and periodic summaries; document in clinical records.
• Instruct patients and families in exercises and self-care to improve independence.
• Identify adverse drug effects and report to OT; participate in discharge planning.
