Job summary

Wheatland Health Community Care Inc invites an In-Home Occupational Therapist to serve patients across Osceola, Volusia, Seminole, and Orange Brevard counties in Orange County, FL. This full-time role delivers OT programming in home settings and coordinates with nurses, therapists, and admin staff to ensure timely care.

The ideal candidate holds an active Florida OT license, a valid driver’s license, and is willing to travel to patient homes. Relocation to FL may be considered.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Florida OT license.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to homes in Osceola, Volusia, Seminole, and Orange Brevard counties.
• Willingness to relocate to Florida if out-of-state.

Responsibilities

• Visiting homes in our service area to meet with patients and support OT programming.
• Coordinating with nursing, therapy, and administrative staff to maintain timely, consistent care.
• Evaluating and reassessing patients' OT needs and developing treatment plans.
• Monitoring patients' progress and communicating status changes to the physician and care team.

As our In-Home Occupational Therapist, not only will you make $95,000 to $110,000/year (based on qualifications), but you'll also enjoy perks like flexible scheduling and a supportive nursing team to assist with various duties (like the SOC OASIS). We'll also group your visits to help reduce driving time! This is a great opportunity to build up your real-world experience and deepen your expertise in the occupational therapy field.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Visiting homes in our service area (including Osceola, Volusia, Seminole, and Orange Brevard counties) to meet with patients and support quality occupational therapy programming
• Coordinating with the nursing, therapy, and administrative staff to maintain timely, consistent care across all areas
• Evaluating and reassessing patients' occupational therapy needs and developing treatment plans to meet these needs
• Monitoring patients' progress and communicating status changes to the physician and care team

WHAT YOU BRING:
