Job summary

Faith Works Counseling in Albuquerque, NM seeks compassionate mental health professionals to provide intensive in-home Multisystemic Therapy (MST) to up to six active clients. You will empower families, youth, and communities through evidence-based individual and family counseling, case management, and advocacy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling with NM licensure (LAC/LMHC/LPC/LMSW/LCSW/LAMFT/LMFT).
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology with at least 3 years of related experience; limited to 2 candidates per team of 4.

Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly case planning and evaluations with support from supervisors and team members, including group supervision.
• Use MST principles to leverage family and client strengths, focus on positives, understand behavioral sequences, and promote appropriate behavior.
• Receive ongoing training and professional development in the MST model to build extensive clinical skills.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients and families to inform treatment planning.
• Engage primary caregivers, family members, and community staff (schools, probation, child welfare) in change-oriented treatment.
• Balance caseloads, clinical contact, paperwork, and case management.
• Provide clinical evaluations and intake screenings to determine treatment needs.
• Offer services both in person and via telehealth, as needed.
• Be available to clients Monday through Friday, with on-call rotation for weekends.
