Job summary

Varco Home Health, Hospice and Homecare in Texas is seeking a licensed vocational nurse for PRN in-home visits. You’ll provide skilled nursing visits, take vitals, administer medications, wound and catheter care, and educate patients and caregivers while following the plan of care.

Qualifications

• Active Texas LVN license required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Ability to follow care plans and adapt to patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled in-home nursing visits per plan of care.
• Take vital signs, medication administration, wound care, and catheter care.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN Case Manager.
• Educate patients and caregivers on medications, safety, and disease management.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Communicate effectively with the care team.
