Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Temecula, CA is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide in-home care to pediatric and/or adult patients, delivering skilled nursing services under prescribed orders.

The LVN will assess and document patient status, administer treatments, monitor vitals, and collaborate with families and care teams. A valid LPN/LVN license, current TB or chest X-ray and BLS are required; one year of nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
