Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide home-based nursing care for pediatric and/or adult patients. The role offers hourly pay and is supported by Maxim’s benefits package.

Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to assess and plan care, delivering skilled services per orders, monitoring patient status, and documenting nursing diagnoses with data-driven insight.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
