Job summary

Easterseals Southern California seeks a compassionate caregiver to plan and conduct daily activities at the participant’s home to promote living skills and independence. You will implement ISP/IPP goals and help participants integrate into the community through structured activities and routines.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and CPR/First Aid certification. Travel to participant homes and consistent documentation are part of the position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• CPI/PART/MAB training is preferred or required for some programs.

Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts daily activities at the participant’s home to facilitate learning and living skills per ISP/IPP.
• Plans weekly activities aligned with goals and assists in community integration.
• Provides 1:1 personal care including eating, hygiene, toileting, and bedtime preparation.
• Maintains documentation including ISP/IPP records and evaluations.
• Attends ISP/IPP meetings and supports plan development and implementation.
• Meets training hours and may travel locally to support participants.
