Job summary

Bethany Christian Services USA LLC is seeking a Kinship Case Manager in Harrisburg, PA to provide intensive in-home case management for county kinship cases and certify caregivers for kinship resources. The role involves home studies, stakeholder liaison, and coordination with medical, educational, and mental health providers.

The position requires flexible hours including some evenings and weekends, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or equivalent field with 3+ years in child/family welfare, or a BSocWork with 2+ years in the field.
• MSW with 2+ years in a child/family welfare agency preferred.
• Ability to engage and maintain positive community relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive in-home case management for kinship cases.
• Certify kinship caregivers to determine suitability under emergency conditions.
• Complete final home studies through interviews and assessments.
• Coordinate with medical, educational and mental health providers.
