Prep Academy Tutors of Northern Los Angeles is seeking dedicated Academic Tutors to support K–12 students across Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies, and Foreign Languages with personalized, one-on-one instruction tailored to each learner's needs.

Ideal candidates include certified teachers, graduate students, or experienced educators who are passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve measurable academic growth, while traveling to homes in the Northern Los Angeles area.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or teaching certification required.
• Strong subject-matter expertise in at least one core academic area.
• Experience in teaching or tutoring in classroom, private tutoring, or small-group settings.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one tutoring in Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies, or Foreign Languages.
• Support homework, study skills, executive functioning, and test preparation.
• Develop individualized learning plans based on student needs and assessment results.
• Track student progress and provide regular updates to families.
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and professional learning environment.
• Travel to students' homes in Northern Los Angeles, California area.
