La-Z-Boy Incorporated’s La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries in Sarasota seeks an Interior Designer to lead the In-Home Design program, translating client needs into actionable design concepts and fortifying sales with design expertise.

You will design spaces using premium furniture and decor, provide consultations, and collaborate with sales to deliver cohesive, stylish results that meet clients’ lifestyle and budget, with uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• Education: bachelor’s degree; or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 2–3 years in sales or interior design, with a residential emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store and Sales Managers to coach, train, and support sales teams.
• Collaborate to ensure execution of operational excellence.
• Translate client lifestyle, taste, and budget into actionable design recommendations.
• Provide professional design consultations, including layout planning and product recommendations.
• Promote the In-Home Design program to draft design solutions and create customized portfolios.
