Job summary

The Division of Child and Family Services in Nevada is hiring a full-time Clinical Social Worker 1 for the Intensive In-Home Clinical Services Team. You will provide high-intensity home- and community-based interventions, lead therapy, crisis stabilization, safety planning, and care coordination for youth with complex needs.

The role requires a Master's in social work, internship approved by the Board, and ability to work in high-stress settings with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work with internship approved by the Board of Examiners for Social Workers.
• Ability to perform crisis interventions and safety planning.
• Experience in individual, family and group therapy and case management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client evaluations and assess needs and eligibility for services.
• Perform crisis interventions and document actions.
• Participate in treatment planning and coordinate discharge/aftercare.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy and psychosocial rehabilitation.
• Coordinate housing, services and resources to meet client needs.
• Maintain case documentation and reporting to courts/agencies.
