Job summary

Little Learners Developmental Services Inc. is hiring an in-home infant teacher/early interventionist to support children aged 0–36 months with developmental delays and disabilities.

You will work in families' homes, focusing on physical, cognitive, language, social-emotional, and self-help development through play-based, child-led activities. The role offers a flexible schedule with workload determined by your availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in child development, education, or related field.
• Experience with young children with developmental delays or disabilities.
• Access to reliable transportation and a clear background check.
• Infant First Aid and CPR certification, TB clearance.
• Bilingual in Spanish, Cantonese, or Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement goals through interactive, play-based activities in the child’s natural environment.
• Provide families with resources and activities to support learning.
• Conduct developmental assessments.
• Create initial and progress reports documenting the child’s development.
• Review reports with families to explain findings and next steps.
• Prepare the child and family for transitions to preschool or other services.
• Maintain current knowledge through mandated trainings and education.
