Job summary

ABC Interventions Inc. seeks a Developmental Specialist to provide play-based education to newborns through 3-year-olds in home settings across Inland Empire. You will deliver developmental activities, collaborate with families, and tailor plans to each child’s goals.

The role requires travel within a 30-mile radius, reliable transportation, and strong organizational skills. We offer an hourly rate of $23–$28 with paid training, benefits, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Experience with infants 0–3 years preferred.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation; travel up to 30 miles.

Responsibilities

• Provide in home developmental stimulation/educational services to children 0-3.
• Develop a professional relationship with families through coaching and modeling.
• Hands on interaction with infants and toddlers that encourages engagement and natural play.
• Knowledge of a client’s IFSP including developmental goals and health concerns.
• Plan, prepare, and implement age-appropriate activities related to outcomes.
• Maintain weekly schedules and appointments including reviews; DAYC-2 progress notes.
• Maintain open communication with families through feedback and session notes.
• Ensure confidentiality of privileged information per HIPAA.
• Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings.
