Job summary

ABC Interventions Inc. seeks in-home Early Education Specialists to deliver play-based developmental services to newborns through age 3 and their families. You will visit families in-home, coach caregivers, and model engaging activities.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience with infants 0-3 years preferred.
• Extensive training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home developmental stimulation/educational services to children 0-3 years.
• Develop a professional relationship with families through coaching and modeling.
• Hands-on interaction with infants and toddlers that encourages engagement and natural play.
• Knowledge of a client’s IFSP including developmental goals, family concerns, and health issues.
• Plan, prepare, and implement age-appropriate activities as they relate to outcomes and development.
• Maintain weekly schedules and appointments including reviews, upon service coordinator’s request.
• Maintain ongoing developmental reports using DAYC-2 and records of progress.
• Communicate with families through feedback, recommendations, and session notes.
• Ensure confidentiality of privileged information in compliance with HIPAA.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Attend developmental staff meetings and trainings.
