Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of WI and Upper MI is seeking a compassionate Human Services Professional - Specialized to provide skill-building, psychoeducation, and supportive services to individuals and families in homes, schools, and communities.

Working under the supervision of a Licensed Therapist or Therapist-In-Training, you will help clients build independence, develop coping skills, and achieve their goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field is required.
• Relevant degrees may include Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, Marriage & Family Studies, Special Education, and other related fields.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the community are required.
• Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family psychoeducation and skill development services.
• Support clients with daily living, parenting, social, employment, and community engagement skills.
• Collaborate with clients, families, treatment teams, and community partners.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to support positive outcomes.
• Complete timely documentation and maintain accurate client records.
• Participate in recovery teams, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
• Respond to client needs through flexible scheduling, including some evenings and weekends.
