Visiting Angels of Bettendorf is seeking an In Home Housekeeper or Caregiver to serve clients across the Quad Cities, IA area. Compensation ranges from $14.00 to $16.00 per hour, with flexible schedules and opportunities for growth.

The role involves personal care, light housekeeping, meal planning, companionship, and mobility support, with training available in dementia/Alzheimer’s care. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• First Aid and emergency response training is required (provided if needed).
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes at scheduled times.
• Ability to assist with mobility and light housekeeping while adhering to safety standards.

As a Visiting Angels In Home Housekeeper or Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
• Providing pleasant, supportive companionship
• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Accompanying and supervise clients during shopping trips
• Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately
• Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands

In Home Housekeeper or Caregiver Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
