Visiting Angels Bettendorf seeks compassionate At Home Caregivers to serve clients across Quad Cities, Davenport, Bettendorf, Muscatine, and nearby areas. Earn $14–$16/hour with flexible schedules, paid training opportunities, and a chance to grow in a nationally recognized home-care network.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping, and providing companionship according to care plans. Valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• First Aid and emergency response training is required (provided if needed).
• Reliable transportation to client homes and flexible scheduling.

As a Visiting Angels At Home Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents

At Home Caregiver Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
