Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking an In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarian to serve families in Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Goose Creek and surrounding areas. You will provide in-home hospice, palliative care, and compassionate euthanasia with professional autonomy and supportive team collaboration.

Formación

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, or equivalent) required.
• Active veterinary license in the state(s) where services will be provided.
• Valid U.S. driver\'s license and ability to travel between appointments.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile care setting.
• Experience with end-of-life care and euthanasia is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide in-home hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life support, and compassionate euthanasia services.
• Independently travel to scheduled appointments in a mobile veterinary care environment.
• Perform physical examinations, sedation, euthanasia, and related veterinary procedures.
• Educate families on quality-of-life decisions and end-of-life options with empathy.
• Maintain accurate medical records and professional documentation.
• Communicate with pet families and the veterinary team.
