Job summary

TruHeart Home Health & Hospice in Norman, OK is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide prescribed nursing care in patients' homes, following a Plan of Care and physician orders.

The RN will conduct assessments, implement and update care plans, administer medications and IVs, and coordinate with families and physicians to ensure high‑quality patient care across Norman, Edmond, OKC, Choctaw and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing for RN
• Experience: One or more years in home health agency or hospital setting
• Training: Competency assessments must be completed
• License/Certification: Current Oklahoma RN license, CPR, driver's license, and auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations and vital signs; assess patient status and needs.
• Develop and implement Plan of Care with physicians’ orders and agency guidelines.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IVs per policy and home health guidelines.
• Communicate with patients, families, and physicians to ensure quality care.
• Document patient status, interventions, and responses.
• Conduct admissions, transfers, recertifications, and discharge visits.
• Assist with orders, assessments, wound care, lab draws, and related tasks.
• Conform to agency policies and participate in ongoing education.
