Job summary

BHI Senior Living Inc. is seeking a Home Health Aide to provide personal care to clients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Therapist. The role covers clients assigned by the RN, ensuring comfort and safety in home settings across Indiana.

Responsibilities include assisting with mobility, daily living activities, meal prep, light housekeeping, and documentation per agency requirements. Requires Indiana HH Aide or CNA license and valid driver’s license with travel between Carmel,

Qualifications

Home Health Aide or CNA license in Indiana required.
Willingness to travel between Carmel, Indianapolis and Zionsville.
Licensed driver with automobile insured per state requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform ROM exercises under supervision of therapist.
Assist in ambulation and exercises.
Provide personal care (bathing, shampooing, skin n/a and oral hygiene, shaving, dressing).
Meal preparation/feeding, laundry, light housekeeping.
Assist with medications as directed by RN per policy.
Report changes to RN/therapist and follow care plan guidelines.
Document care and submissions weekly.
Maintain infection control and safety in home environment.
Communicate with the interdisciplinary team as requested.
