Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a compassionate Home Health Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide one-on-one in-home care in Rocky Mount and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible scheduling (Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN) and competitive, experience-based pay with weekly pay.

You will assist clients with daily living activities, provide companionship, monitor conditions, and help maintain a safe home environment while documenting care and communicating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• PCA certificate from an approved program required.
• Current tuberculosis test required before start date.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to clients in a home setting.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene, and feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, and transportation assistance.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and observe/report changes in client condition.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Offer companionship and participate in activities clients enjoy such as reading, games, puzzles, and hobbies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with supervisors and care team members.
