Job summary

Caring Hand Home Health Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide for a field-based per diem role in California. You will travel to patients’ homes to provide compassionate, hands-on personal care under a registered nurse’s guidance, supporting daily living activities and safety.

Compensation ranges from $30 to $40 per visit. Flexible schedule and opportunities to convert to full-time based on performance are available, with mileage reimbursement and paid sick/bereavement leave as

Qualifications

• Must hold a California Home Health Aide certificate (HHA).
• CPR certification with American Heart Association (AHA).
• Valid driver’s license with insured vehicle.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care accurately.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Genuine empathy and patience for patients who are ill or frail.
• Professional, tactful, and attentive to personal hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, skin care).
• Assist with mobility, exercises, and ROM per care plan.
• Support meals from prep to feeding assistance.
• Take and record vital signs as directed.
• Assist patient with medication self-administration.
• Keep living space clean, safe, and orderly.
• Observe changes and report to supervising nurse.
• Document care per organizational standards.
• Perform other patient services as required.
