Job summary

Caringhand Home Health Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide for a field-based, per diem role in California. Travel to patients' homes is required; compensation is $30-$40 per visit.

You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, providing personal care, mobility support, meal assistance, vital signs, and documentation in patients' homes. Strong empathy and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• CA CHHA certificate required.
• CPR certification (AHA) required.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Able to read, follow written instructions, and document care accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skin care.
• Assist with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities per the care plan.
• Support patients with meals from preparation to feeding assistance when needed.
• Take and record vital signs as directed.
• Help patients with medication self-administration.
• Keep the patient’s living space clean, safe, and orderly.
• Observe patients and report changes to the supervising nurse.
• Document care provided per organizational standards.
• Perform other duties as required for patient services.
