Job summary

BrightStar Care of South Sacramento is seeking an In-Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide compassionate in-home care in the Sacramento area. You will help clients with daily activities, personal care, and mobility, following the plan of care under RN oversight.

The position offers flexible scheduling, ongoing training, mileage reimbursement, and weekly pay with direct deposit as part of a supportive team committed to a higher standard of care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year documented health care experience.
• Certified CPR required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to pass pre-employment criminal background check.
• Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide hygiene and personal care as directed (bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing).
• Assist with daily tasks (feeding, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments).
• Assist with mobility as defined by the care plan and document changes to the Director of Nursing.
