Job summary

Homewatch CareGivers of New Haven and the Shoreline is seeking experienced Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our team in New Haven, CT. You will provide in-home care, assist with daily living activities, and support clients to live independently in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in caregiving, preferably in home care or similar settings.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; HHA certificate preferred.
• Licenses: Current HHA certificate or related certification.
• Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care services, including personal care, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.
• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and client status.
