Job summary

Homewatch CareGivers of New Haven and the Shoreline is seeking experienced Home Health Aides to join our team in New Haven, Connecticut. The role focuses on in-home personal care, companionship, and helping clients maintain independence with dignity.

You will require at least 3 years of caregiving experience, a High School diploma or equivalent, an active HHA certificate, and a valid driving record. We offer competitive pay at $18-$20 per hour, bonuses, paid training, and a supportive work

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of caregiving experience, preferably in home care or related settings.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; HHA certificate preferred.
• Current HHA certificate or related certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care services including personal care, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.
• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with mobility and transfers and maintain client status records.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
