HOMEWATCH CAREGIVERS OF NEW HAVEN & THE SHORELINE in New Haven, CT, is hiring a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to support clients with daily living activities and provide companionship. The role offers flexible hours and paid training as part of a supportive care team.

The position requires at least 1 year of caregiving experience and strong communication skills; reliable transportation is preferred. A TB test within 24 months is also preferred to ensure client safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• 1 year of caregiving experience
• Caring attitude and strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Negative TB test result (within past 24 months) preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Monitor and report changes in client condition
