Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Homemaker - HHA to provide in-home para-professional care under RN supervision. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and light housekeeping, ensuring safety and comfort for patients in their homes.

Qualifications

• Good customer service skills.
• Licensed Homemaker - HHA with valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home, para-professional care under RN supervision.
• Assist with personal care activities: baths, hygiene, mobility support.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation as instructed.
• Remind and assist with oral medications and follow care plans.
• Document care details and report changes to RN in a timely manner.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and body mechanics during patient handling.
• Support patient and family with daily activities and transportation as needed.
