In-Home Geriatric RN Assessor — Per Diem

Job summary

The Helper Bees is seeking qualified Independent Contracted Nurses to perform in-home assessments for patients in their own homes. This per diem role focuses on cognitive and functional evaluations with clear, objective reporting and timely submission.

Candidates must be RNs with at least 5 years of geriatric experience, possess a current license, and have reliable internet access for online submission and follow-up. Per assessment pay is $125 within a 35 mile radius.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as an RN with geriatric care experience.
• Current RN license and ability to work in patient homes.
• Proficient with healthcare documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home cognitive and functional assessments.
• Complete structured assessments with accuracy and efficiency.
• Observe and report current status of clients objectively.
• Coordinate scheduling with client or contact.
• Submit assessment within 24 hours; respond to clarifications within 48 hours.
