Job summary

The Helper Bees is seeking an Independent Contracted Nurse to perform in-home assessments in the Buffalo, NY area. This per diem opportunity pays $125 per assessment and supports older adults to stay independent at home.

As an RN with 5+ years of experience, you will conduct cognitive and functional assessments at clients' homes, report findings, and coordinate scheduling. A portable computer or tablet with camera is required.

Qualifications

• RN with current license; geriatrics experience preferred.
• 5+ years as RN with broad meds/conditions knowledge.
• Must have reliable internet for submitting assessments.
• Face-to-face assessments completed in claimant's homes.

Responsibilities

• Complete in-depth cognitive and functional assessments at clients' homes.
• Coordinate scheduling with client or contact provided.
• Submit assessments within 24 hours; respond to clarifications within 48 hours.
• Maintain objectivity and report current status of individuals.
