Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation in Denison, IA is seeking licensed Occupational Therapists to deliver one-on-one care to older adults in homes or senior living communities, using our Geriatric House Calls model. You’ll set your own schedule, may incorporate telehealth, and collaborate with PTs, SLPs, and nurses to improve mobility and independence.

This role offers autonomy, meaningful patient outcomes, and opportunities for growth within a clinician-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one Occupational therapy to older adults in homes or senior living communities
• Perform evaluations, develop plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment
• Deliver therapy sessions to support wellness, mobility, and independence
• Document effectively in the EMR per regulatory standards
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PTs, OTs, SLPs, Fitness Specialists)
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff to promote safety and aging in place
• Provide telehealth / virtual care when appropriate to extend access
