Job summary

Highfields is seeking a Family Therapist to conduct in-home counseling for Jackson and Hillsdale counties. The role involves home visits, evaluating family dynamics, and delivering family-focused interventions to strengthen relationships.

The ideal candidate holds a master's degree (or working toward it) in counseling or social work, with licensure in process and at least one year of relevant experience. Flexible scheduling and some remote documentation are available.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher required or in progress with bachelor's in field.
• State licensure commensurate with degree (in process acceptable).
• One year or more experience counseling children and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct family counseling sessions in clients' homes, addressing dynamics and environment.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations of individual needs, relationships, and factors affecting the family.
• Provide counseling, teach coping mechanisms, parenting skills, and conflict resolution strategies.
