Job summary

Highfields Inc. seeks a Family Therapist to conduct home-based counseling and address family dynamics for clients in Jackson and Hillsdale counties. The role offers a flexible schedule with some remote documentation and in-office staff meetings.

The position requires a Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or a related field along with state licensure or eligibility. Prior family counseling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field; bachelor's degree considered if in progress.
• State licensure commensurate with degree; in-process eligibility accepted.

Responsibilities

• Conduct counseling sessions in families' homes, addressing dynamics and communication.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations of individual needs, relationships, and environment.
• Teach coping skills, parenting techniques, conflict resolution, and other supports.
• Provide services 2–4 hours per week; clients in Jackson and Hillsdale counties.
• Documentation can be completed remotely; some in-office staff meetings.
