Job summary

River Valley Counseling Center, Inc. is seeking an In-Home Therapy Clinician to provide therapeutic services to children and families in home and community settings in the Chicopee, MA area. Evening availability is strongly preferred to meet client needs.

The role emphasizes comprehensive assessments, family therapy, crisis intervention, and collaborative care planning with documentation and safety planning within seven days of initial contact.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., human services, counseling, clinical psychology, or social work).
• License-eligible (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent) and MA-CANS certified (or able to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home clinical services, including assessments and family therapy.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments (e.g., CANS) with interpretive summaries and recommendations.
• Deliver crisis intervention, risk management, and safety planning, with care coordination.
• Document clearly and timely; complete progress notes within 24 hours of service.
• Work in home, health care clinics, schools, and community settings.

Education

Master’s degree in related field

License-eligible (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT)

MA-CANS certified (or able to obtain)
