Job summary

Options Counseling and Family Services, founded in 1991, provides mental health and family preservation services across western Oregon. The role supports families referred through ODHS, conducts screenings, and develops service plans to enhance stability and workforce readiness. Travel to homes is required.

The position emphasizes client outcomes, collaboration with partners, and flexible scheduling to meet family needs. A valid Oregon driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience working with at-risk families within the last five year or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
• Experience with families where children have experienced abuse or neglect is preferred.
• Must have valid Oregon driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home services to children, adolescents and families.
• Assess parental capacities related to child safety and well-being.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and support plans.
• Coordinate with community partners to support progress.
