Job summary

Community Concepts Maine seeks a Family Visitor to enhance family functioning, focusing on increasing parent knowledge, family strengths, problem-solving skills, and support systems. This role requires 32–40 hours per week with frequent travel across Androscoggin, Oxford, and parts of Northern Cumberland County; work location can be South Paris or Lewiston with a hybrid schedule after training.

Starting pay range is $21.50–$23.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field.
• Minimum one year of supervised work experience with young children and/or parents.
• Must have working knowledge of early childhood mental health theories and practices; proficient with Microsoft Office; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Partner with parents and caregivers in homes to create and progress family goals.
• Help families understand child development and support parent-child relationships; provide screenings and activities.
• Ensure Maine Families standards and Parents as Teachers requirements are met across clients.
• Meet outcomes based on contract and federal benchmarks.
