Job summary

Community Concepts seeks a Family Visitor to work in homes and communities across Androscoggin, Oxford, and parts of Northern Cumberland County, helping families set and reach goals and support child development.

Role includes travel, a hybrid schedule after training, and starting pay in the $21.50–$23.75 per hour range. This is a full-time, field-based position with comprehensive benefits and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field preferred with 1 year supervised experience.
• Unrelated bachelor’s degree or related associate degree with commitment to complete one agency-paid program within 1 year and 2 years supervised experience.
• Trauma-informed practice knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with parents and caregivers in their homes to create and make progress toward family goals.
• Help families understand their child’s development and support the parent-child relationship, provide developmental screenings, and share parent-child activities.
• Ensure clients are receiving a high-quality Maine Families experience by maintaining Maine Families Statewide Standards of Practice and Parents as Teachers model requirements.
• Achieve outcomes based on contract performance-based measures, Parents as Teachers annual performance measures, and federal benchmarks
