Job summary

Advocates is seeking a Family Support Counselor in Framingham, Massachusetts. You will help families build skills, resolve clinical challenges, and access resources while delivering services primarily in their homes and community locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field, or 5+ years of experience working with youth/families.
• Strong computer knowledge and ability to use an Electronic Health Record.
• Must have valid driver’s license and access to an operational automobile.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of strengths and needs.
• Complete crisis plans and coordinate treatment planning with families.
• Provide individual and family support and coaching.
• Identify community resources for youth and parents.
• Provide comprehensive care coordination.
