Job summary

Center For Family Services is seeking a full-time In Home Counselor for its Family Preservation Services (FPS) in Gloucester Counties. The role focuses on crisis intervention and short-term in-home support to prevent out-of-home placement and improve family functioning.

Responsibilities include maintaining a 2–3 family caseload, conducting follow-ups at 3, 6, and 12 months, and handling documentation for supervision. Requires strong communication, reliability, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in home counseling or related field.
• Ability to work with families in crisis.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain caseload of 2–3 families and be available for crises 24/7.
• Provide counseling using individual, family, and group methods within FPS objectives.
• Complete follow-ups and required reports to evaluate FPS progress.
