Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinarians to serve pet families across Houston, Pearland, Katy, Sugar Land, and the surrounding communities.

We are a privately held, family-owned, doctor-led practice with no non-compete contracts, prioritizing compassionate conversations and flexible schedules to help families during difficult times.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment.
• Weekend availability on a rotational basis.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted.
• Exude compassion, dignity and respect for all.
• Professional communication with team and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services to pet families.
• Communicate with compassion and clearly discuss options with families.
• Coordinate care with the veterinary team and clients.
• Maintain safety and professionalism in a mobile setting.
