Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking licensed veterinarians to perform in-home hospice and euthanasia across Alabama communities including Birmingham, Forestdale, Fairfield, Homewood and Center Point. This private, family-owned practice emphasizes compassionate end-of-life care with no non-compete contracts, flexible part-time scheduling, and generous production and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinarian with DVM/VMD/BVMS degree
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
• Weekend availability (rotational)
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
• Demonstrated compassion, dignity and respect for all
• Professional communication with team and families

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care to veterinary patients
• Support families through end-of-life discussions with empathy
• Coordinate care with the Heartstrings Pet Hospice team and clients

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring an In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families across Birmingham, Forestdale, Fairfield, Homewood & Center Point - Alabama.
