Heartstrings Pet Hospice in Birmingham, Alabama is seeking an In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarian to serve pet families across Birmingham, Forestdale, Fairfield, Homewood & Center Point. No waiting room, no corporate dashboards—just you, a family who loves their pet, and the time to do it right.

Experienced veterinarians seeking flexible, part-time work can join a privately held, doctor-led practice with no non-compete contracts, ongoing mentorship, and a schedule that respects your life

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinarian with a DVM/VMD/BVMS degree.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client homes.
• Comfortable working independently in a mobile setting.
• Weekend availability on a rotating schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lb and provide compassionate end-of-life care.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services to pet families.
• Communicate clearly with families and team, ensuring dignity and respect.
• Maintain professional standards and safety during mobile visits.
• Manage scheduling and travel with a client-centered approach.

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring an In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families across Birmingham, Forestdale, Fairfield, Homewood & Center Point - Alabama.
