Qualifications

• Valid Ohio teacher's license or certificate appropriate for the assignment.
• Meets all mandated health requirements (e.g., a negative tuberculosis test).
• Documentation of a clear criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Consults with the classroom teacher to clarify assignments and instructional objectives.
• Upholds board policies, follows procedures, and complies with the Employee Code of Conduct.
• Teaches assigned students as scheduled and creates effective learning experiences.
• Implements student behavioral management and upholds the student conduct code.
• Develops and maintains a positive learning environment and helps students and parents understand objectives.
