Job summary

HealthPRO Heritage is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for early intervention in Chambersburg, PA and surrounding areas. In-home services, flexible scheduling (FT/PT/PRN), and W-2 benefits are offered with potential for hybrid arrangements. Standard rate is $75/hr with higher rates for travel across county lines.

This role emphasizes patient-centered care, family education, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to support ages 0-3 and their families.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible.
• Skills: Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills; ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
• Treatment and Education: Create personalized treatment plans to meet clients' goals and educate clients and families on improving daily activities and adaptive equipment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Advocacy and Support: Advocate for clients' needs and support them in accessing community resources, services, and accommodations.
