Job summary

Legacy Residential Services LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals in Pittsburgh, PA, to provide compassionate, direct support to individuals with intellectual disabilities. Responsibilities include ensuring health and safety, promoting independence, and assisting with daily living activities. This position requires a minimum of 18 years of age, a High School Diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. DSP training is provided, and prior experience is preferred but not essential. The role is available as full-time or part-time.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age required.
• Prior experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• DSP I Certification Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Ensure the health, safety and well-being of individuals.
• Complete daily shift logs, detailing individual's activities.
• Administer medications and transport individuals to appointments.
