Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Staff Assisted Home Hemodialysis Technician to join the team. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, prepare and test water and dialysis equipment, and document patient data and treatment details in accordance with policies.

Travel to nursing home facilities is required within a defined region. Successful candidates will have two years of hemodialysis experience, a valid CPR certification, and dialysis training.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of Hemodialysis experience.
• Ability to assist in lifting patients and equipment.
• Willingness to travel to Nursing Home facilities within defined area.
• CPR certification and dialysis training completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for assigned patients under RN supervision.
• Prepare and test all water and dialysis equipment according to policies.
• Record vital signs and treatment data on the treatment sheet.
• Monitor and intervene as prescribed; transport specimens for labs when needed.
• Discontinue treatment per established procedures and ensure safety.
