Job summary

Herewith is seeking an In-Home Dialysis Technician to support patients receiving dialysis at home. You will ensure a safe setup, prep for treatment, and monitor wellbeing, while collaborating with a clinical team to provide high-quality care.

The role emphasizes compassionate, reliable care with flexibility in scheduling and weekly hours. Training support and placement assistance are provided, with independent work supported by clinicians.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of dialysis machine experience.
• Familiarity with home dialysis machines preferred.
• Reliable, empathetic, and detail-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal communication; dependable.
• Must pass background check via Herewith platform.

Responsibilities

• Conduct & support patient setup for dialysis treatments (e.g., NxStage or equivalent machines).
• Provide companionship, emotional reassurance, and schedule adherence.
• Monitor safety and assist with light activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Maintain communication with clinic nurses and care coordinators.
• Document any concerns or changes observed during support hours.
