Job summary

Herewith is seeking compassionate in-home dialysis technicians to support patients in Walnut Creek, CA. You will assist with setup, monitor safety, and ensure comfort for treatments while coordinating with a clinical team.

You will work with patients matched by skill and personality, receive training, and have consistent weekly hours at $25/hour, with scheduling aligned to care plans.

Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting dialysis patients (home or clinical setting).
• Familiarity with home dialysis machines (preferred).
• Reliable, empathetic, and detail-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal communication.
• Must be dependable.
• Must pass background check and vetting via Herewith platform.

Responsibilities

• Conduct & Support patient setup for dialysis treatments (e.g., NxStage, Tablo or equivalent machines).
• Provide companionship, emotional reassurance, and schedule adherence.
• Monitor safety and assist with light activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Maintain communication with clinic nurses and care coordinators.
• Document any concerns or changes observed during support hours.
