Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide one-on-one therapy in patients' homes across Austin. You will deliver OT treatments under the direction of a supervising OT, helping patients with ADLs and functional tasks to promote independence.

Flexibility is a hallmark of this role, with a self-managed schedule and meaningful patient-focused care, ideal for balance or extra income. A valid Texas license and driving ability are required.

Qualifications

• Active Texas COTA license is required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an OT.
• Assist patients with ADLs, strength, coordination, and safety.
• Reinforce therapy plans and home exercise programs.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising OT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safety and functional techniques.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
